To my friends in Taiwan: Many of you did not get the results you wanted. So for those of you who are drowning your sorrows in booze and hotpot, let me offer this thought:

I am used to losing. I have been losing to Beijing for a couple of decades now. But no matter how many times they win, they can’t get me off the chessboard. NEVER.

So get up and fight for your beliefs - fight on! - and enjoy the game.
